UPS
Please Note; All Shipping Charges will be assessed based on UPS Rates and Weight of
Package or Packages.
Sewing machine heads and power stands can be shipped UPS.
Most industrial sewing machine heads weigh approximately 70 to 80 lbs.
Most industrial power stands weigh approximately 125 lbs. and can be shipped only if
unassembled.
Complete industrial sewing machines assembled with power stands can only be shipped by truck.
Unless you specify a preference of carrier, we will use UPS or a truck line of our choice. Freight charges for truck shipments are collect unless prepayment is agreed upon.
Shipping charges on C.O.D. purchases must be prepaid guaranteed by a
credit card.
Insurance Claims - UPS
We insure all United Parcel Service shipments. If a shipment reaches you in a damaged condition, you should refuse receipt. For concealed damage, the consignee must contact UPS and have a representative inspect the shipment and pick it up for return to WSM Co. If you do not have a regular UPS contact, WSM Co. can initiate a call tag to have the shipment picked-up and inspected. WSM Co. Customer Returns will be happy to assist in shipping a replacement shipment. Credit will be issued upon inspection of the damaged shipment.
Insurance Claims - Trucks
If any item is delivered to you in a damaged condition by a freight carrier, note the nature of the damage on the driver's copy and your copy of the freight bill and have the driver sign both copies. You are now protected and can file a claim with the carrier. If concealed damage is found after opening the shipment, keep the damaged carton and all its contents and call the truck line for an inspection report. You have only fifteen (15) days to file a claim after the merchandise has been delivered. If the truck line fails in ten (10) days to inspect the damaged merchandise, forward a letter requesting inspection to the freight line with a copy to WSM Co..
and we will assist you however possible.
Returns:
Contact our Customer Returns Department for a return authorization on merchandise for repair, credit or exchange. Please have packing slip or invoice at hand when calling. Merchandise returned for warranty, repair, credit or exchange must be prepaid. Special ordered merchandise is not returnable. WSM Co. reserves the right to charge a restocking fee (15 to 35%) where applicable. WSM Co. must be notified in writing of all claims for adjustment on non-delivery within 90 days from date of shipment.

Warranty:
WSM guarantees their products for a period of ninety (90) days from date of shipment. This guarantee is limited to repair or the replacement, free of charge at our facility by us for equipment or parts we may determine to be defective. We will not assume any expense or other liability for repairs or modifications to our equipment made outside our facility without our written consent. We will not assume expense or liability for damages resulting from misapplication, improper installation or maintenance, storage, handling or from any attempt to use such product in excess of its rated capacity. No oral, statutory or implied guarantees or warranties other than that of title shall apply to the products sold by WSM Co., except as expressed herein, and in no event shall WSM Co. be liable for special or consequential damages. If a product sold by WSM Co. is guaranteed by the manufacturer for a period longer than ninety (90) days, the manufacturer's guarantee will supercede
WSM's guarantee.
